Participants were introduced  with Oil&Gas topic delivered by one of the world known experts in energy industry, professor Partha S. Ghosh. The purpose of the lecture was to show how analytics help Oil & Gas organizations make sharper decisions at operational and strategic levels. The module also provided the participants the essential grounding on the  technological trends, capital project management trends , geo political and geo economic trends and environmental, community development and safety issues the sector has to be increasingly sensitive to.

In the second part of the module, one of the best-selling authors and executive trainers across the world, Mike George spoke about foundations of self‐development, while COTRUGLI Executive Director, Ms. Lana Dojčinović Matovina carried out the MBTI workshop.  The module provided the framework for increasing self-awareness and for utilizing individual differences to reach higher levels of individual and team effectiveness, to build an environment of trust and to promote diversity as a key driver for growth and learning.

We wish all EGL participants a successful educational journey, full of energy and passion demonstrated during the first module!

“The first EGL was a unique blend of theoretical and applied learning. The problems in general were known but the tools and techniques were unknown. Now we will be able to control the problems in a better manner. Overall a good, well managed, useful program with excellent faculty especially the amazing lectures by Partha S. Ghosh.”

Asad Abbas, Sr. Sr. Petroleum Engineer

“Hearing about different aspects of Oil and Gas industry from such an experienced lecturer like Partha S. Ghosh, with an ability to make a subject familiar to anyone with no matter of previous backgrounds was an excellent start of the Program. Even better at setting a tone of what we can expect from rest of the year, was Mike George challenging our programmed way of thinking about ourselves and our professional and personal relationships.I cannot wait for the next Module to start!”

Mia Ivanković, ,R&M Project Management Engineer 2

“The LEAD EGL programme brought together a really strong team of individuals, with all of our differences, making the discussed topics even more interesting, due to the various approaches from which we had the chance to discuss them. I really enjoyed especially the Personal development part of the programme, as I believe did everyone in the room, where we had a really great opportunity to uncover the psychological aspects and impact of decision making, emotions, stress- and time- management. Personally, it gave me a topic to think about for months to come. I would also highlight the openness to questions from the Professors’ side, which made the all discussed topics an experience with great learning value.”

Miroslav Malý SCM Specialist

“I really enjoyed all lectures, but my favorite was Mike George, who has changed my previous thoughts, I react differently in several situation. The oil&gas part was interesting, but we did not touch the downstream trends. I am proud to be part of this great training, I feel it will have a significant impact on my career and my personal life too.”
