EDIHs also support cross-sector collaboration, offering pre-market testing and validation. Their work is critical to building AI systems that are not only innovative but also trustworthy—a major goal of the European Union’s digital strategy.
Boot Camp: Learn, Build, and Launch
A core part of the hackathon is the AI Boot Camp, organized by AI & Gaming EDIH. It’s part of the project “Digital Transformation of Central Croatia and the Northern Adriatic through AI and Gaming”, worth over €2.3 million.
The project is co-funded by the DIGITAL Europe Programme and the Croatian Ministry of Economy, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026.
