Davide is Italian, graduated from ESCP Europe (formerly ESCP-EAP) and the University of Turin. He has earned a PhD in enterprise economics from the University of Turin. He is author of numerous articles, policy papers, book chapters, case studies and presents regularly at international research conferences. His latest book “How to think Strategically. Your roadmap to Innovation and results” (co-authored with J. Couturier) published by the Financial Times is nominated for the prestigious Management Book of the Year award by the CMI and British Library. Aside from the academic commitments, Professor Sola is principal and President at 3H Partners, a leading Entrepreneurial Solution Provider firm, very active in supporting top management of leading enterprises on issues such as new business models, innovation and strategy at large. Professor Sola covers a wide range of industries, ranging from Healthcare to Energy to Technology to Financial Services. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Keith Heron joined the Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship in 2009. He is currently the Deputy Director for MSc Entrepreneurship programs, having previously been Program Director for the Executive and Full-time MBA at the Greenlands executive education campus. Keith grew up in a family business which inspired him to widen his commercial experience, firstly by joining Kimberly-Clark, the Kleenex company, followed by a role as Export Sales Manager for an industrial goods B2B company, before co-starting his own business at the end of the 1980’s. Whilst commercially very successful over 10 years, the commercial interiors business taught Keith many things, but also left many questions unanswered. The completion of his MBA at Henley, in 1999, provided some of these missing answers but also took Keith into a new direction; management education and a role at Henley. Five years in Queensland, Australia, from 2003 widened his experience in Government small business programs and University entrepreneurship programs. He redesigned the ‘Innovation + Creativity + Entrepreneurship’ module and developed a new Entrepreneurship ‘minor’ degree program, between 2005 and 2008. Upon return to the UK, he resumed his connection with Henley as a personal tutor and became the first Enterprise Tutor for the Peter Jones (UK Dragons’ Den) National Enterprise Academy pilot. In October 2012 Keith commenced his current role. The University of Reading has a long academic entrepreneurship history (Professors Mark Casson and Andrew Godley) and Keith’s role is to operationalize the accumulated research and learning into dynamic experiential programs for international MSc students seeking to develop their own family businesses or become entrepreneurial employees in multinational companies. He also teaches the MBA entrepreneurship elective at Henley. Keith maintains and develops his understanding of entrepreneurship in practice through his relationships with small firms for the purpose of collaborative consultancy projects involving teams of MSc students as well as through his personal consultancies with family businesses.

Steve is a consultant and lecturer in project, program and portfolio management.
He has a portfolio career as a Director of his own consultancy organization (Oxford Management & Research Ltd) and also heads up the Project & Program management unit at Henley Business School (UK). His specialism is in assisting clients such as BP, Network Rail and Pfizer to deliver project requirements to meet their business needs. More specifically, Stephen facilitates organizations’ endeavors to align and integrate project activities into business operations. He has experience in most business sectors and has been involved in all stages of project life-cycles. Steve is Gateway reviewer with Local Partnerships and has led over 100 Gateway reviews, many on PFI projects. At Henley, Steve has provided a series of workshops enabling clients to design and implement their change program in a more effective manner. Prior to establishing his own consultancy, Steve worked for Bovis Program Management in their London-based European headquarters. There he provided consultancy project management services to clients such as Pfizer, BP, P&O, MOD, Heritage Lottery Fund, Railtrack and Dublin Light Rail. In addition, he provided support to project managers working on Bovis projects on an international basis. As a fellow of the Association for Project Management, Steve is former chairman of the Contracts & Procurement Specific Interest Group. He is also an assessor for APM’s Registered Project Professional (RPP) standard. He is also a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and sits on the construction procurement panel. In this capacity he provides advice to surveyors on all matters relating to procurement, especially during the initial phases of a construction project. Steve lectures at a number of European universities and has written extensively on the subject of project and risk management. He was on the authoring committee for APM’s refresh of their Body of Knowledge 6th ed. (2012) and Project Risk Analysis and Management guide 3rd ed (2012). He is also a contributor to Gower’s Handbook of project management 5th ed (2014). Steve sits on both BSI and ISO committees for project and program management (TC258) and was part of the team that created ISO 215000: Guide to Project Management issued in 2012.

Michael Hathorn is a partner of OPTIMIS Sarl and a member of the Peak Value Group where he focuses on the consulting practice areas of HR Strategy, Leadership and Organizational Development. Apart from that he is visiting lecturer at COTRUGLI Business School.
Michael has significant experience in leadership positions in industry and public sector enterprises. At Capital International in Geneva, a privately held investment management company, he founded and headed the Training and Development function for the European businesses. In his role as Group Director of Leadership at TNT in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Michael served on the HR Strategy Council and drove key strategic initiatives in the area of HR Transformation, established a Change Management center of Expertise and developed the Leadership and Learning Framework for the top 500 executives. In the public sector, he is a contributor to the World Business Council on Sustainable Development and donates his time to a variety of professional organizations. His most recent conference and professional presentations were on “HR Strategy”, “HR Functional Excellence”, “Mastering the Art of Innovation and Change”, “Strategic Recruiting”, the “High Performance Organization” and “Accelerating the Development of Leaders.”
Michael previously served on the faculties of Louisiana State University, Northwestern University and Webster University where taught in the undergraduate, graduate and executive programs.
