He has published several papers in internationally recognized peer-refereed journals such as Accounting Forum, Journal of Business Ethics, Corporate Governance: International Review, and Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. His work, presented in a number of international conferences, is related to the area of corporate governance implementation, corporate social and environmental accounting and accounting in non-profit organizations. Dr. Soobaroyen has over 15 years of experience in accounting, consulting, teaching and research activities. He has taught Financial and Management Accounting at undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA level and currently administers the Accounting Masters program at Southampton. He is also an external examiner at the University of Bradford (UK) and the University of Technology, Mauritius.
