We have entered what I call the NEO world: Networked, Exponential, Orchestrated.

  • Networked: value (and power) comes from connected ecosystems, not isolated companies.
  • Exponential: some capabilities don’t improve “a bit each year” — they jump.
  • Orchestrated: winners don’t just “work hard”; they design systems (people + AI + processes + data) that execute faster than others.

Here is the uncomfortable truth: most of us — even high performers — grow linearly. And even linear growth is hard, because life is not a straight line. We all have years of momentum and years of turbulence.

AI is different. Parts of it are now moving on an exponential curve.

Why I’m writing this

In February 2026, a wave of public statements from top AI leaders turned the “future of work” conversation into an urgent one.

The most striking: Mustafa Suleyman (Microsoft AI CEO) told the Financial Times that AI is heading toward human-level performance across most professional tasks — and that white-collar work could be largely automated within 12–18 months.

That includes the classic desk roles many of our alumni hold: law, accounting, project management, and marketing —not just isolated tasks, but multi-step workflows handled by AI agents.

The “good news” inside the warning

If Suleyman is even partially right, we still have time.

But not “time to read about it.” Time to reposition.

During the transition period, the advantage goes to people who learn to operate in what Anthropic’s CEO, Dario Amodei, called the “centaur phase”: humans + AI together outperform either alone—but this phase may be brief.

That is the window COTRUGLI alumni should exploit.

What we’ve been doing since 2022

Since our first structured AI research work in 2022, we haven’t treated AI as a trend. We treated it as a career and business scenario engine.

That’s why we’ve been building, testing, and deploying:

  • articles + books + conferences
  • hackathons + applied learning
  • AI office implementations
  • AI consulting
  • AI bots and AI agents
  • and our new Chasing Jarvis AI curriculum (practical, operational, repeatable)

This is not about becoming “AI experts.” It’s about becoming AI-augmented leaders who stay ahead of the curve.

Introducing: the AI-Embedded NEO Assessment

We built a simple but powerful tool: an AI-embedded NEO Assessment.

What it does (in plain language)

Most jobs are a bundle of tasks.

Some tasks:

  • repeat frequently
  • follow clear rules
  • are text or spreadsheet-heavy
  • are easy to verify

Those tasks are the first to be automated.

Other tasks:

  • involve judgment under uncertainty
  • require trust, negotiation, and leadership
  • demand context, ethics, and responsibility
  • require shaping the question, not just answering it

Those tasks become more valuable.

What the NEO Assessment gives you

  • a map of your work as task clusters (not job titles)
  • a realistic view of what AI can do now, soon, and never (or not safely)
  • a “move list” for how to reposition: augment, automate, or elevate

Think of it as a career + business radar for the NEO era.

The practical shift: from “role” to “workflow ownership.”

In the NEO world, your safety and upside will come from three moves:

  1. Move up the value chain from execution → to problem framing, decision design, and governance.
  2. Own an AI workflow. Don’t just “use ChatGPT.” Build a repeatable system: inputs → steps → outputs → QA → metrics.
  3. Turn AI into leverage, not anxiety. Your moat becomes: domain expertise + relationships + credibility + execution architecture.

March COlab Meetup — AI Masterminds

In March, we’ll gather in COlab with our AI masterminds to go practical and go deep.

We’ll cover:

  • AI Office (real implementation cases)
  • AI bots and AI agents
  • Chasing Jarvis AI curriculum

We will also briefly share our developments in advanced topics: AI composite learning, VIS, Sovereign AI, Beautiful Mind, and, lastly, hard-core NCTE (NEO Cotruglian Triple Entry) as a trust infrastructure for the AI and machine economy.

The NEO world doesn’t reward the person who works the hardest. It rewards the person who builds-lead-mentain the system.

If your growth is linear, make it disciplined linear. Then use AI to turn that linear line into step changes.
