Meet the lecturer - Andrea Maria Cosentino
Andrea Maria Cosentino is a highly skilled academic passionate about digital transformation, emerging technologies, data science, innovation, entrepreneurship, and finance.
With a Master of Science degree and Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Andrea has an impressive academic background and gained extensive expertise across multiple industries. Throughout his career, Andrea has held various positions in the academic world, including serving as an Associate Faculty at Emeritus. In this role, he teaches Strategy & Competitive Advantage courses in TelCo, Business Modelling and Innovation, Data Science for Managers, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Additionally, Andrea is a Visiting Professor at ESCP Business School, where he teaches courses in Master in Banking, Course in Entrepreneurial Finance (Venture Capital & Private Equity), Master in Digital Transformation, Course in Strategic Digital Transformation, Executive Education in Energy & Finance, Executive Course in ESG, Sustainability & Blockchain, Executive Course in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies, and Executive Course in Leadership: The CEO Mindset.
Furthermore, Andrea teaches Executive Education courses in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies and Entrepreneurial Finance (Venture Capital & Private Equity). He founded The Tesseract Academy, an executive education boot camp in Data Science. He has trained executives in Data Science for Executives & Decision Makers at Tesseract Academy and Executive Education courses.
In addition to his academic roles, Andrea is the founder and director of Licas Ventures, where he funds, invests, and advises start-ups in Fintech, Foodtech, and opportunistic strategies. He is a thought leader in Fintech and has contributed to various publications, including MIT Technology Review outlets, WEF Business Review, UCL Blockchain Centre research in DLT, Ninja marketing, and General Assembly. Additionally, Andrea is a TLA (Tech London Advocates) member and Founders of the Future.
Professor Andrea is a visiting professor at COTRUGLI Business School where he delivers "Into the Future" modul focused on emerging technologies and their implication on everyday business.
